1 part Entrepreneur,
1 part Innovator,
1 part Cooperative Organizer.Declan Keefe has over a decade of experience in architecture, construction and real estate development. Declan is an entrepreneur and has a passion for triple bottom line businesses (people, planet, prosperity). His focus has been on creating high performance, sustainable buildings at a low cost. He founded CoEverything to bring cooperative ownership to the real estate industry. He was a founder and owner of the design/build/development cooperative, Placetailor, based in Boston, MA. Through his work, he designed and built the first Passive House certified building in Massachusetts, lead Placetailor through a coop conversion, and contributed his expertise to city-wide policies for compact housing and zero net energy initiatives. His life’s goal is to simply have a net positive impact, and he believes that will only be possible through collaboration and cooperation.

3 parts Pathfinder,
2 part Technologist,
1 part Compassion Evangelist.Ellie Tiglao (any pronouns) is CoEverything’s curious and dynamic Co-Operator. L brings a deep knowledge of collaborative tool and process building to the firm, forged in previous professional lives as a neuroscientist, director of arts programming, and worker co-op restaurateur. L’s favorite things to do at CoEverything is work with and for friends in community and facilitate informed decision-making that’s guided as much by data-driven systems thinking as it is by the philosophy of Grace Lee Boggs. L loves to design and create physical and digital spaces that connect humans and spark dialogue. Outside the CoEverything universe, L invests time in prototyping, getting lost in conversation and watching anime.

in Moving at the Speed of Trust.
Trust is crucial for progress in every project, partnership, and relationship. To move towards a collective goal we need transparency, honesty, and shared values.
We Believe
that Collaboration is a Must.
We can only improve each other's lives and the planet we all share by working together. We love collaborative process!
that Inequality is Real.
We cannot afford to ignore the realities of economic, social, racial and gender inequality. To build trust, we must acknowledge privilege and fight for justice.
that Low Carbon is the New Normal.
We design affordable, high-performance buildings that are energy-efficient and environmentally conscious with low embodied carbon.
in the Triple Bottom Line.
Our worker-owned cooperative is a triple bottom line small business, ensuring sustainable practices that benefit people, planet, and profit simultaneously.
in the Solidarity Economy.
“I am well if you are well.” Solidarity economy values emphasize cooperation, equity, and community-led initiatives to foster economic systems that prioritize social justice and sustainability.
We are a Worker Cooperative.
-
CoEverything is a worker cooperative—which means the people who do the work are also members who own and govern the business. Instead of being accountable to outside investors, we’re accountable to each other.
As members, we share responsibility for decision-making, financial sustainability, and shaping the direction of the company. Our cooperative structure reflects our belief that the way we work should reflect the world we’re trying to build.
-
We’re guided by the internationally recognized Seven Cooperative Principles, which help cooperatives of all kinds stay rooted in equity and democratic control:
Voluntary and Open Membership
Democratic Member Control
Member Economic Participation
Autonomy and Independence
Education, Training, and Information
Cooperation Among Cooperatives
Concern for Community
These principles show up in how we structure projects, collaborate with partners, and support each other as a team.
-
The cooperative movement is grounded in shared values. These are central to how we work every day:
Self-help
Self-responsibility
Democracy
Equality
Equity
Solidarity
We also believe in honesty, openness, social responsibility, and caring for others. These values help us stay accountable—not just to each other, but to our clients and the communities we serve.
