Coop Social Club
Interior Design | Volunteer Buildout | Co-op Formation | App Development
Coop Social Club is a member-owned social and coworking space in Jamaica Plain; we designed it, built it, formed the cooperative, and now run it alongside 36 other members.
Project Overview: For 50 years, Red Sun Press operated as a worker-owned print shop at 94 Green Street in Jamaica Plain. When the cooperative prepared to close and sell its longtime home, CoEverything answered the call from the solidarity economy network to keep the building in community hands.
We transformed the ground floor from an industrial print shop into a 3,500 SF coworking and social club for a new member-owned cooperative. In the weeks before the June 2026 grand opening, founding members, neighbors, and more than two dozen volunteers helped bring the space to life through mural painting, furniture assembly, cleaning, and weekend build days.
